The moments that make up your wedding aren’t a sequential stack of minutes that comprise a day– they’re special, intimate parts of two people’s love. Our approach to wedding films is to take these moments and show how beautiful even the most simple of details can be— the way the trees moved on a particularly windy day, the way your partner looks at you when you’re not paying attention, or the delicate intricacies of your table setting. Many Moons Ago
Who We Are
Taylor and Ali are a (soon to be) husband and wife videography duo based in West Michigan. Ali launched Moondance Films in 2016. Originally called MCA Media, she produced films for weddings, nonprofit organizations, special events and local businesses. The two met while Taylor was a beer brewer at a Grand Rapids craft brewery, and it wasn’t long before they were over the moon in the love with each other. At the end of 2021, Taylor left his job teaching brewing at a local community college to join Ali in producing wedding films. Taylor’s background in the arts made it a comfortable and seamless transition. They love working together and have a passion for telling people’s love stories. Some of their favorite pastimes include hiking with their dog, Odie; camping; traveling; gardening; and splurging on Taco Bell. 🙂
